OUR FIRST EVER LOSS!!!! Funny old game - the boys just weren't themselves. They seemed to stroll about the field with no energy or particular interest. Looked like they all needed a good cup of strong coffee!! We were down 2 players with Jaxon soaking up rays in Fiji - BULLA JAXON - and Danny boy not feeling 100%.
We put the loss down to not being able to train for 2 weeks running and having not played the Saturday before due to wet weather. Just as well our coach was in Fiji - Pete we did you no justice!! Having said that - we cannot take anything away from St Patricks who played exceptionally well. The highlights of the game were 2 goals scored by Willem Marsh and 1 goal scored by Noah Morgan in the second half.
We are all looking forward to a much better week next week. We will have a full compliment of players. Encouragement awards were given to Kye Richards and Joshua Cutcliffe.
